The roll continues for the New Castle High boys basketball team.
The Red Hurricane outscored Valley by 20 points in the first quarter en route to a 72-30 win in its Christmas Tournament at the Ne-Ca-Hi Field House.
New Castle (10-0) pushed its regular season winning streak to 12 games.
Twelve players got in the game for the 'Canes. 11 of which scored.
"We had a chance to play some younger guys and I thought some of our younger guys played really well," New Castle coach Ralph Blundo said. "I think those quality minutes that they got can only help them."
Marquel Hooker led the 'Canes with 23 points and his younger brother Marcus Hooker chipped in with 18. Marquel was coming off a 45-point effort last week, which tied the school record. The previous tally of 45 was set by David Young in 1999.
Marquel added six steals and five rebounds against the Vikings, bucketing 8 field goals in 16 attempts. Marcus added four boards and four steals, while netting 9 field goals in 12 attempts.
Dylon Lloyd, Omon Carter and Deonte Ross recorded six points each for Valley (1-8).
New Castle will square off against Seneca Valley (4-4) in the championship at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Raiders compete at the Class AAAA level.
