Samantha Seaburn scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Angelina Sibeto added 11 markers in the Lady Wildcats' 55-41 Shenango Holiday Tournament win.

Class AA Shenango (5-2) jumped out to an 18-11 first-quarter lead over Class AAA Hopewell (0-8) and cruised to the victory.

"We were up 35-15 at one point, but I have to give Hopewell credit, they kept playing — I think they got to within 51-41 at one point before we opened it up a little again down the stretch," Lady Wildcats coach Jason Rankin said. "To beat a Triple-A team is always good, especially in your own tournament."

Shenango plays Quaker Valley at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
