The Spartans outscored the Tigers 46-33 in the second half to pull away for a win in the Shenango Holiday Tournament.
Laurel (8-1) led just 26-24 at the break. The Spartans were 31 of 66 from the floor for the contest.
"We came off a little bit of a break and it showed," Laurel coach Ken Locke said. "We didn't shoot the ball very well in the first half.
"We got it going in the second half and we were able to get ourselves some easier buckets and open up the lead."
Mason Mraz poured in a game-high 29 points for the Spartans with 13 rebounds and five assists. Scott Siddall supplied 22 markers and Jordan Dantico delivered 12.
Jacob Wilson netted just two points but added seven assists, seven steals, five rebounds and three blocks.
Marquez Phillips posted 11 points to lead Sharon.
