Gino Ceriani’s 19 points were not enough to lift the Wolverines over Ambridge in a Section 2-AAA contest.

Ellwood City Lincoln (0-2, 2-7) collected only 17 field goals and missed over 60 percent of its foul shots, while Ambridge (2-1, 7-3) knocked down 18 field goals and connected on 23 of 32 from the line.

The Wolverines took a 10-9 lead after the first quarter, but the Bridgers went on a 21-9 run in the second frame and never looked back.

Every player that saw action for Ambridge reached the scoring column.
