The Lady Wildcats came up short in a Section 1-AA road loss to Beaver Falls.
“Beaver Falls came out ready to play,” Shenango coach Brian Turk said. “We played catch-up all night.
“They were hitting their shots when they needed to. We’d get close and then we’d shoot ourselves in the foot.”
Angelina Sibeto supplied 16 points to lead the Lady Wildcats (2-2, 6-4) to go with her five rebounds and five assists. Samantha Seaburn chipped in with 15 markers and 11 boards.
The Lady Tigers (2-3, 5-6) kept Shenango in the game by making just 5 of their 19 attempts from the foul line.
