A strong second half helped the Warriors clinch their first win of the season in the Mohawk Christmas Tournament.
Mohawk (1-7) used a 36-20 advantage in the final 16 minutes to pull away from the Golden Beavers (2-5).
Ricky Malutic had a game-high 26 points for Mohawk, including three 3-pointers, while Zach Shasteen totaled 12 points.
Cody Acon led Western Beaver with 14 points.
Mohawk will play Beaver at 6 p.m. in its second game of the Christmas Tournament.
