Cornell (57) Vs. Union (45)
Dec 17, 2014
A game of runs didn’t fall the visiting Scotties’ way in their loss to Section 1-A foe Cornell.
“The third quarter, we cut it down to two but they opened it up,” Union coach Mark Stanley said. “We let them have their run, they had more than us.”
Anthony Rush found his shot from beyond the arc for Union (1-1, 1-4), knocking down four 3-pointers. Garrison Bell added 14 points.
The Raiders (2-0, 3-2) had big performances from Devin Hines and Dane Jackson. Hines had a game-high 26 points, while Jackson tossed up 17.
“That Jackson kid is everything as advertised,” Stanley said.
