Shelby Rodgers hit six 3-pointers and scored a game-high 22 points as the Lady ’Canes picked up a 70-40 win over Ambridge in the consolation round of the Ambridge Christmas Tournament.
Logan Hartman, a Davidson University recruit, followed with 21 points and added eight rebounds for New Castle (8-1). Tasia Wise chipped in with 10 markers and Abby Allen had 12 assists to go with her four points.
Kiara Brown led the Lady Bridgers (5-5) with nine points.
