Chelsea Brown and Alyssa Shaffer each turned in double-figure scoring performances to guide the Lady Warriors to a win in the Penn State-Beaver Tournament.

Shaffer paced Mohawk (4-8) with 16 points and Brown followed with 15 markers.

“The effort we got from Chelsea and Alyssa was great,” Lady Warriors coach Mike O’Lare said. “We need to get that type of effort from those girls every night because they have the ability to do it.”

Tiffany Bartoles scored a game-high 22 points for the Lady Golden Beaver (0-10).

Mohawk continues play in the tournament against South Side Beaver at 1 p.m. today.
