Ellwood City pulled away in the third quarter of a nonsection matchup with Quigley Catholic.
The Wolverines (4-3) led by four at the half, but outscored Quigley Catholic, 18-7, in the third stanza to take control. Ryan Horgan paced Ellwood City with 17 points. Quigley Catholic’s Joe Oliveri scored a team-high 11 points.
