Chris Koryak scored 24 points to the lead the Royals to the win at the Ellwood City tournament.
Vincentian posted a 24-7 lead in the first and went up 48-18 at halftime.
“They are an excellent team. We were never in the game. They came after us early and we made a lot of mistakes,” Laurel coach Mike Tinstman said. “The positive thing was, even though we didn’t play well in the beginning, our players never quit. We showed improvement throughout the game.”
Todd Fennick led the Spartans (0-2) with 17 points, while Chad Long had 15.
