Union girls earn first win
Union (33) Vs. Portersville Christian (24)
Jan 26, 2010
The Lady Scots earned their first win of the season with a nonsection triumph over Portersville Christian.

“I’m proud of the kids,” Union coach Brian Fadden said. “They battled. They’re all good kids and I’m glad good things are starting to happen.”

The Lady Scots (1-11) received a game-high 21 points from Savannah Partridge, who also knocked down two 3-pointers. Taryn Wright added six markers.

Partridge’s second 3-pointer with five minutes left in the fourth quarter gave Union a six-point lead.

“That really put us over the edge,” Fadden said.
