Riverside pulled away in the second half for a Section 2-AA win over Shenango.
The Lady Panthers (2-1, 5-4) outscored the Lady Wildcats 35-21 in the second half.
“Riverside is strong,” Shenango coach Chris Vecenie said. “They played tough defense; they’re big and we didn’t do a good job denying the ball down low and it cost us.”
Angelene Rapone paced the Lady Wildcats (0-2, 6-3) with eight points.
Riverside’s Sam Weir led all scorers with 19 points.
