The Lady Lancers dropped a tough 78-34 decision to Slippery Rock in the opening round of the Slippery Rock Tipoff Tournament.
Neshannock, which committed 24 turnovers and shot only 12 for 38 from the field, took a 2-0 lead to begin the game but quickly found itself down 17-4 early in the first quarter.
Ericka Warvell led the Lady Lancers with 12 points and seven rebounds. Neshannock plays Freeport at 6 p.m. today in the consolation game.
