The Lady Wolverines took a commanding 38-14 lead at the half en route to posting their second nonsection victory.

“It’s nice to be on the other side,” Ellwood City Lincoln coach Bill Gottuso said. “This is the first time we’ve been over .500 in recent memory.”

Ashley Washington led all scorers with 17 points while Alexandra Capalbo turned in a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Wolverines (2-1).

Sharneka Carter scored 13 for the Lady Quips (0-3).
