Kylee Patton made baskets in the closing seconds of regulation and overtime before the Lady Lancers suffered a double-overtime loss in nonleague action.

Patton, who finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds, scored with five seconds left in regulation to send the contest into overtime. Later she converted a 3-pointer at the end of the first overtime.

Patton came close to tying the game for a third time, but her half-court desperation shot hit off the backboard with 2.8 left.

“I’m happy with how we played,” Neshannock coach Greg Huston said. “We battled all the way to the end. Our freshmen are stepping up and making foul shots. We played our hearts out, but we just came up a little short.”

Erika Warvell and Chelsea Kauffman each scored 10 points for the Lady Lancers (1-2).
