Mohawk survived a battle with Shenango for a Section 2-AA victory.

Kara Monceaux buried a 3-pointer for the Lady Wildcats with a minute left to close to 40-39. The Lady Warriors turned the ball over on their next possession with 20 seconds left to give Shenango one final chance.

The Lady Wildcats’ Danielle Dado hit the front of the rim on a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Mohawk the win.

Kelly Fox led the Lady Warriors (4-6, 9-12) with 12 points and Alyssa Natale added 10.

Brittany Mendel paced all scorers with 15 markers for Shenango (1-9, 7-14).
