The Lady Wildcats posted a 35-22 halftime lead and collected the 66-49 Section 1-AA win.
Shenango (4-3, 7-5) endured a sluggish start and had a 10-8 lead over the winless Lady Lions (0-7) after the first stanza. The Lady Wildcats turned it on for 25 points in the second and 25 more in the third to take control.
Angelina Sibeto led all scorers with 24 points. She added five assists in the win. Samantha Seaburn had 18 points. Emma Rich finished with eight points.
Jacqui Baker did not score, but collected eight rebounds.
Libby Thomas led New Brighton with 19 points. Tara McFadden added 13.
