The Scotties let a comfortable third-quarter lead slip away in the 64-56 Section 1-A loss at home.
"We were up nine in the third, they came back and it started going back and forth. With two minutes left, we had a one-point lead and missed a layup, a few other things started going wrong and the momentum just seemed to turn," Union coach Mark Stanley said.
It was the first loss in the section for Union (3-1, 4-4). Eden is now 2-1, 7-1.
Joey Crivelli paced the Scotties with a career-high 21 points, all on 3-pointers, and Garrison Bell added 19 markers. Matt Costello had six assists and Devin Wilson added six rebounds.
