The Lady Wolverines took a 31-18 lead en route to a nonsection victory.

“We came out fast and we played a very controlled game,” Ellwood City Lincoln coach Bill Gottuso said. “We had only one turnover in the first half, which is very unlike us.”

Ashley Washington had 14 points and six assists for the Lady Wolverines (4-11). Her twin sister Alyse Washington contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds. Alexandra Capalbo supplied 10 rebounds and seven points.

Brittany Mendel led the Lady Wildcats (7-11) with 13 markers.
