Mohawk falls to Summit

The Warriors featured two scorers who eclipsed the 20-point scoring mark, but couldn’t top Section 1-AA foe Summit Academy.

Zach Shasteen scored a game-high 26 points and Ricky Malutic followed with a 24-point performance for Mohawk (0-9 section, 1-16 overall).

The duo received little help, however, as the next highest scorer, John Zagotti, posted three points.

The Knights (1-8, 2-12) responded with four players in double figures, led by Bilal Muhammad’s 16 points. Terrell Turner contributed 12 points. Anthony Rentas and Dennis Richardson added 11 each.
