The Lady Greyhounds struggled defensively over the final three quarters in a District 10, Region 2-AA home loss to Sharpsville.
Wilmington (1-3, 3-9) led 6-4 after the first quarter.
“We actually played decent defense in the first quarter,” Lady Greyhounds coach Brandy Sanford said. “Then we decided we didn’t need to do so the rest of the game.”
Tessa Sikora supplied team-high totals of 11 points and 12 rebounds for Wilmington.
Megan Davis recorded a game-high 22 points for the Lady Blue Darlings (3-0, 5-5), who made eight 3-pointers.
