The Wilmington Lady Greyhounds missed 10 foul shots in dropping a narrow 45-41 verdict to Moniteau in the consolation game of the Union Booster Tournament.
Wilmington was 14 of 24 from the free-throw line.
“Foul shooting played a big factor in the loss,” Lady Greyhounds coach Brandy Sanford said. “We just can’t find a way to finish, either. We haven’t figured out how to win a game.”
Sarah Slonaker supplied a team-high 14 points for Wilmington (1-7) and Tessa Sikora was next with 10.
Alisha Brehm tossed in 12 taliles for the Lady Warriors.
