Rochester made 11 3-pointers and cruised past Union in the Section 1-A matchup.
The Rams (5-0, 13-3) made nine of those 3s in the first half, when they flew to a 54-16 lead. Both Jasson Adamson and E.J. Blackwell scored 15 in the first two quarters. Adamson finished with 18, while Blackwell reached 22.
“They shot lights-out,” Union coach Dave Smialowski said. “We tried to sit in a zone a little bit and force them to beat us from the outside, and they did.”
Markel Peace scored a team-best 13 for the Scotties (0-5, 1-15). Giovanni Ellis tied Blackwell for a game-high 22 for the Rams.
