Sharpsville rolls over Laurel
Sharpsville (64) Vs. Laurel (39)
Dec 16, 2010
Sharpsville’s Jon Wilson made sure Laurel stayed winless.

He scored 34 points as the Blue Devils cruised in a nonsection matchup. Sharpsville is coached by former Neshannock High mentor Jim Smiley.

“He shot well, and we definitely didn’t defend him very well,” Laurel coach Mike Tinstman said. “They’re a good team. They have four starters back from last year’s playoff team.”

Wilson made five of Sharpsville’s six 3-pointers and led the Blue Devils (1-0) to a 31-21 halftime lead. They put the game away with a 14-6 edge in the third quarter.

Todd Fennick led Laurel (0-3) with 11 points.
