Anthony Thomas scored 41 points to lead the Union Scotties over Winchester Thurston 71-49 in a nonsection game.
Thomas connected on 18 field goals, including five 3-pointers to record his third 40-point outing of the season.
“He was just penetrating really well,” Union coach Dave Smialowski said. “He was working off the high screens and hitting that nice pop-up jumper he has.”
Nate Majors added six points and 11 rebounds for the Scotties, which lost two games by a combined four points earlier this week.
“It’s just nice to get back on track,” Smialowski said.
