Bobby Nittinger fired in 24 points to lead Neshannock to a nonsection win over Warren (Ohio) John F. Kennedy.
Nittinger netted 10 of his points in the third quarter for the Lancers. He was coming off a 37-point performance Friday, including the game-winning 3-pointer against section rival Union.
“Bobby played well again for us,” Neshannock coach John Corey said. “To come back and play as well as he did is a tribute to him.”
Neshannock led 35-17 at the half and cruised from there.
“I thought we played really hard in the first half,” Corey said.
Brandon Marinelli contributed 17 points for the Lancers (12-4) and Joey Fontana added 13. Eric Bruening recorded a game-best nine rebounds and John Sansone handed out eight assists for the winners.
Brenden Cox paced the Eagles (0-13) with 13 points.
