Sewickley gets by Union
Sewickley (42) Vs. Union (27)
Jan 26, 2009
The Lady Scots trailed 24-16 at the half and were unable to get any closer in the Section 1-A contest.

“We got into foul trouble early and we did escape from that, but we did not play 100 percent,” Union coach Damian Cassano said. “The last few games we’ve been complacent to rely on certain people to do certain things.”

Union (5-4, 7-10) was led by Bridget Boyles with 14 points. Noelle Hannon had eight points and 11 rebounds, while Nikki Hamett grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Lady Scots played without star freshman Savannah Partridge, the county’s leading scorer, who was ill.

Taylor Bungle led the Lady Panthers (5-4, 7-10) with 24 points.
