Neshannock broke the game open in the second half in a rout of Laurel in Section 2-AA action.

The Lady Lancers (10-2, 15-6) held an 11-3 halftime buffer before outscoring the Lady Spartans (2-9, 6-12) 28-11 in the second half.

“It was a very good defensive effort,” Neshannock coach Greg Huston said. “Our defense has kept us in games all year and it did again tonight.”

“We struggled to score in the first half.

Kylee Patton tallied a game-high 14 points for the Lady Lancers while Chelsea Kauffman added 13, all in the second half.

Lacee Cutchall, Kerri Hutchison and Lindsey Sauers had three markers each for the Lady Spartans .
