The Lady Warriors built a 14-2 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 55-22 Section 1-3A win over the Lady Wolverines. The game, which was a home game for Mohawk, was played at Geneva College.
The Lady Warriors (6-1, 11-2), who have won seven games in a row, pushed the count to 29-6 at the break.
Carlee Stelter paced four Mohawk players in double figures with 20 points. Karly McCutcheon followed with 13 and Abbey Westcott tallied 12. Caitlin Carnuche contributed 10.
Natalia Greco garnered 12 points to lead Ellwood City Lincoln (1-6, 4-11).
