Three players scored 20 or more points for Ambridge as it rolled past the Lady Wolverines in a Section 2-AAA matchup.
Precious McCracken led the Lady Bridgers (9-2, 15-5) with 24 points, while Erin Smith registered 23 and Sam Santiago sank 20. Ambridge led, 37-24 at the half and outscored the Lady Wolverines (1-11, 8-14) by 30 in the second half.
Sisters Michelle and Nicole Nocera each netted 10 points for Ellwood City in its season finale.
The win by the Lady Bridgers sets up a showdown with New Castle on Friday. Ambridge can win a share of the section title with a victory, while the Lady ’Canes can win it outright with a win.
