Summit Academy never gave Laurel a chance in a 71-31 Section 2-AA rout.
The Knights (9-2, 12-6) were up 19-4 after one quarter and 42-20 at the break. They removed all doubt with a 25-7 advantage in the third quarter.
“They played well and we just weren’t in the game,” Laurel coach Mike Tinstman said. “We struggled the entire night.”
Todd Fennick led the Spartans (1-9, 3-15) with 13 points and Chad Long added nine.
Arley Townsend’s 18 points paced the Knights, who had three players reach double figures.
