The Union High boys basketball team continues to roll.
Four players reached double figures for the Scotties as they captured their sixth straight win, a 62-48 nonsection home verdict over Mohawk on Saturday.
Benjamin Young recorded 19 points for Union (6-1) and Joe Salmen chipped in with 16. Markel Peace posted 11 markers and Tre Major was next with 10.
“We’re just going out and playing hard,” Scotties coach Dave Smialowski said. “We’re defending better, too.
“For us to be successful, we have to pressure the ball. We’re just keeping that balance every night.”
Peace paced Union with 10 rebounds and Salmen handed out four assists.
Union took control in the third quarter, outscoring Mohawk (3-4), 16-5, en route to a 43-26 lead going to the fourth frame.
Ryan Sager supplied a team-high 11 points for the Warriors.
